Fereydun Robert Armisen (born December 4, 1966 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi) is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer and musician best known for being a Saturday Night Live cast member from 2002 to 2013, as well as various other television show roles in Portlandia, Documentary Now! and Big Mouth. He has also portrayed characters in comedy movies including Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Baby Mama and Easy A.
In a Nintendo Direct broadcasted on September 23, 2021, it was announced that Armisen will be providing the voice for Cranky Kong in The Super Mario Bros. Movie co-produced by Illumination.[1]
