List of Power Moons in the Cap Kingdom

This is a list of the 31 Power Moons that can be found in the Cap Kingdom of Super Mario Odyssey.

1 | Frog-Jumping Above the Fog |
The player needs to capture a frog near the start of the kingdom and use it to jump across some floating hat-platforms near the south side of the kingdom. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
2 | Frog-Jumping from the Top Deck |
The player needs to capture a frog near the start of the kingdom and use it to high-jump from a stack of two hat-ships in the Central Plaza. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
3 | Cap Kingdom Timer Challenge 1 |
Near the base of the Top-Hat Tower, the player can find a scarecrow. Mario should throw Cappy at the scarecrow, which will temporarily reveal a Power Moon at the other side of the Top-Hat Tower bridge. Mario needs to then collect the Power Moon before it disappears. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
4 | Good Evening, Captain Toad! |
At the top of the Top-Hat Tower, the player can find Captain Toad observing the moon. Talking to Captain Toad will award the player with a Power Moon. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
5 | Shopping in Bonneton |
The player can purchase a Power Moon from the Crazy Cap Shop for 100 yellow Coins. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
6 | Skimming the Poison Tide |
The player needs to capture a Paragoomba and use it to fly to the back side of the Top-Hat Tower, where a door leading to a secret area can be found. Mario should enter the door and then collect the five Moon Shards within in order to reveal a Power Moon. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
7 | Slipping Through the Poison Tide |
In the area with the "Skimming the Poison Tide" Power Moon, the player should use a Paragoomba to fly under the platform with the exit door in order to reach the other side of the wall, where some platforms can be found. Mario should scale up these platforms in order to reach a hidden Power Moon at the top. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
8 | Push-Block Peril |
Near the top of the Top-Hat Tower, the player can find a door leading to a secret area. Mario should enter this door to find an area with several blocks that go in and out of the wall. If the player can successfully traverse these blocks, they will be rewarded with a Power Moon. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
9 | Hidden Among the Push-Blocks |
In the area with the "Push-Block Peril" Power Moon, the player can find a hidden Power Moon tucked away in a hole among one of the L-shaped blocks. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
10 | Searching the Frog Pond |
At the north side of the Central Plaza, the player can find a hidden door leading to a secret area. Mario should enter this area and then capture a nearby frog to collect five Moon Shards, which will reward him with a Power Moon. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
11 | Secrets of the Frog Pond |
In the area with the "Searching the Frog Pond" Power Moon, the player needs to use a frog to jump up to a high ledge located on the back wall, where a Power Moon can be found. | Available after powering up the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. |
12 | The Forgotten Treasure |
In the Central Plaza, the player should look for a Bonneter atop of a top-hat-shaped platform on a hill. Mario should talk to him, which will trigger a quest to find a "lost treasure". Cappy will lead the player around the area in search of the treasure, which is Cappy's lucky Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
13 | Taxi Flying through Bonneton |
In the Central Plaza, Mario must capture the pair of binoculars (in the north-western corner) and use them to look at a taxi flying in front of the moon. If the player stares at it for a few seconds, it will reward Mario with a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
14 | Bonneter Blockade |
In the Central Plaza, the player should look for a Power Moon in a small alcove guarded by a Bonneter. If Mario captures a nearby Paragoomba and takes it to the Bonneter, he will get scared and run off, allowing access to the Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
15 | Cap Kingdom Regular Cup |
Near the top of the Top-Hat Tower, the player can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. Mario should participate in the race and then reach the finish line (located near the Odyssey) in first place. This will reward him with a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
16 | Peach in the Cap Kingdom |
In the Central Plaza, the player can find Princess Peach. Talking to her will reward Mario with a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
17 | Found with Cap Kingdom Art |
In the north-western corner of the Central Plaza, the player can find some Hint Art showing the location of a Power Moon hidden in a different kingdom. Mario should travel to the location shown (the Moon Kingdom) and ground pound the spot south of the Lochlady at the start in order to receive this Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
