Template:Species-infobox Mega Pokeys are larger varieties of Pokeys first appearing in Super Mario Galaxy. Their body is twice as large compared to a normal Pokey.

History

Super Mario Galaxy

Mega Pokeys first appear in Super Mario Galaxy in two galaxies Good Egg Galaxy and in Dusty Dune Galaxy, they attack by slamming the ground the only way to defeat them is by throwing a Coconut at their body, and then jumping on or spinning the head.

New Super Mario Bros. U

Mega Pokeys reappear in New Super Mario Bros. U they appear in Morton Koopa Jr.s boss fight where he uses his hammer to knock the pokey segments at the player, they cannot be defeated by any power up.

They reappear in New Super Luigi U once again only appearing in Mortons battle.
