Cross Lifts[1][2][3] are objects in New Super Mario Bros. U and its Nintendo Switch port. These platforms expand and contract either horizontally or vertically. They appear only in the level Shifting-Floor Cave, where they are extremely common throughout the level, as well as in the challenge The High Road.
