A Goomba Sign.

Goomba Signs are wooden cutouts in the shape of Goombas that can give the player items if broken. They appear in the Nintendo 3DS game Super Mario 3D Land. If the 3D mode is not on, they can easily be mistaken for real Goombas. They block Mario's path but can easily be jumped on or broken using Raccoon Mario's tail. There are also 1-Up Mushroom and Warp Pipe cutouts in the game, as well as a Princess Peach sign integral to the plot.

Some Grand Goomba Signs appear in the Mario Kart 7 course Piranha Plant Slide. They respawn regularly after they get destroyed. There is also one bush sign that stands between the fences in an off-road area at the end of the course.
