Manual Labor is one of Orbulon's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted! and returns as one of Ashley & Red's microgames in WarioWare Gold. "Manual labor" refers to work done by hand or using basic tools rather than machinery.

Gameplay

The purpose of the game is to tilt the system to divide the people and the animals that fall into the hand to their proper side. In WarioWare Gold, the player instead has to split animals on land and animals in water.

  • 1st level difficulty: Three species will fall on the hand.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Four species will fall on the hand.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Five species will fall on the hand.

The player can get a combo (accompanied by the sound heard when the player collects the treasure in Wario's Adventure from WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, which in turn sounds like the "item get" sound effect from The Legend of Zelda) if three members of the same species are placed into their area side, but only in Twisted!. But if a member of a species is placed into the wrong area side or a species falls on the hand when another one is present on it, the sky will turn dark, lightning will strike the two areas and the player loses the game.
