Dan Hennessey (August 25, 1942 - November 13, 2024) was a Canadian voice director and voice actor who often lent his voice to children's cartoons, and was best known for the voice of Brave Heart Lion from the Care Bears franchise and Chief Quimby in the first season of Inspector Gadget. He voiced Bully Koopa in the animated series The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, and often voiced cavemen in the latter; additionally, he was often one of the singers in both cartoons, and had a large amount of one-time roles.

Hennessey died on November 13, 2024 at the age of 82 due to complications associated with Parkinson's disease.[1]
