In-game appearance

A 1-10 Dice Block is a special Dice Block that appears in Mario Party 9. As the name suggests, it is a Dice Block that rolls numbers one to ten, similar to the normal Dice Blocks from the previous eight Mario Party installments. These blocks are rarer than other types of Dice Block, as there is only a small or no chance of obtaining one from a Dice Block Space or a Spin Space. It is important to note that, after the players beat the mid-boss of Toad Road, all of the players will have to roll Dice Blocks, with the captain rolling the 1-10 Dice Block, to make the total amount large enough to pass the broken bridge.

This type of Dice Block is shaped like an actual ten-sided die (a pentagonal trapezohedron), unlike other Dice Blocks, which are cube-shaped.
