Yoshi's Island is one of 5-Volt's microgames in WarioWare Gold. It is based on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System game of roughly the same name.

Gameplay

Yoshi must jump at the right moment to free Baby Mario before Kamek's Toadies take him. Yoshi can also Flutter Jump if necessary.

  • 1st level difficulty: Baby Mario's bubble stays in place, and Yoshi can reach it from the ground.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Baby Mario's bubble stays in place, and Yoshi must jump on two platforms to reach it.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Baby Mario's bubble slowly moves horizontally, and Yoshi must jump from two posts to reach it.

Trivia

  • Unique to the WarioWatch challenge where the microgame instead has a 28-beat time limit, it is shown that Kamek's Toadies fly through Baby Mario and never actually pick him up with them.
