Keegan-Michael Key (born March 22, 1971) is an American actor, comedian, producer, and screenwriter known for co-creating and co-starring with Jordan Peele in the TV series Key & Peele. He has also appeared in films such as Keanu and Don't Think Twice and provided voice acting in several animated films, including Jim in The Lego Movie, Ducky in Toy Story 4, Kamari in the 2019 remake of The Lion King and Delroy in Migration (another film co-produced by Illumination too).

During a Nintendo Direct on September 23, 2021, Key was revealed to be starring as Toad in The Super Mario Bros. Movie co-produced by Illumination.[1]
