Template:SMOlocation-infobox The Luncheon Kingdom is a location featured in Super Mario Odyssey. This location, inspired by Italy[1] (or more specifically by Mount Vesuvius), is a combination of lava/volcano and food themes. It is the greater location of Mount Volbono, the volcano, and is inhabited by Volbonans.[2] The Regional Coins here take the form of polygonal fruit resembling tomatoes.[1]
Areas
- Peronza Plaza:, a town-like area[1]
- Meat Plateau: a high hill that houses a giant slab of meat that is capturable.[3]
- Top of the Peak Climb: an area close to the top of Mount Volbono.[3]
- Salt Pile Isle: a small island resting in a sea of pink lava.
- Floating Sky Island: a little pink floating isle where the player appears after having used the portrait from the Wooded Kingdom or the Lake Kingdom.
Power Moon locations
There are a total of 56 Power Moons in this Kingdom.

- 01: The Broodals Are After Some Cookin': Obtained by defeating Spewart.
- 02: Under the Cheese Rocks: Obtained by capturing a Hammer Bro and using his frying pans to break some cheese rocks hiding a switch that opens the cage containing the Power Moon.
- 03: Big Pot on the Volcano: Dive In!: ❸ Obtained after using Cappy to capture a slab of meat and have Cookatiel carry Mario to the top of Mount Volbono.
- 04: Climb Up the Cascading Magma:

- 06: Piled on the Salt: Found in a salt pile on the tall walls directly in front of the Odyssey. To the left of the Odyssey are two buildings that form a hallway. Jump on the roof there and then walk back towards the Odyssey on the roof. Seen above the pile of salt at the end of the wall.
- 07: Lurking in the Pillar's Shadow: Found in the first part of the Luncheon Kingdom in a corner between two pillars.

There are a total of 100 Regional Coins to be found in the Luncheon Kingdom: 9 coins near the starting area, 18 near Peronza Plaza, 12 near Salt Pile Isle, 15 near Path to the Meat Plateau, 6 near Meat Plateau, 17 near Volcano Cave Entrance, 7 near Start of the Peak Climb, 3 near Top of the Peak Climb, 13 near Remote Island in the Lava. It is recommended to beat the boss first before hunting these coins.
