Bob Hoskins, as he appears today.

Bob Hoskins is an Academy Award-nominated actor. He portrayed the live-action version of Mario seen in the movie Super Mario Bros., which was released in 1993.

He has potrayed numerous roles and as an actor can peform various roles as his filography shows. He has gone from playing Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie to Smee in Hook, to Uncle Bart the owner of Jet Li's character in unleashed a far more serious role than either of the previous.
