Blimp Fruits are a special type of fruit appearing in Super Mario Galaxy 2. These fruit play a key role in the Tall Trunk Galaxy. Blimp Fruit look like light-blue Berries with a small stem. When Yoshi consumes this fruit, he changes his green color to Light Blue and inflates (taking the form of Blimp Yoshi), similar to Balloon Mario's power-up. After that, Yoshi can propel himself by exhaling the air inside him or hold the A button to hover in the same place. However, like Bee Mario, a meter appears to show how long Yoshi can stay afloat. Once the meter empties, Yoshi becomes green again.
