Pipe-Rock Plateau is the first world in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is a grassy landscape whose plateaus resemble Warp Pipes, as the name implies. The coastal portions of the world resemble real world hexagonal basalt rock formations, known as columnar joints. South of the main plateau is a meadow region with rolling hills, enveloped by blue flowers. This is where the first courses in the game occur. The open area of the Pipe-Rock Plateau is a savanna with paths leading to a forest and the largest mountain to the north, and an underground swamp to the south. Some of the courses in the open area have giant pipe-shaped trees in the background resembling renalas, invoking the Avenue of the Baobabs from Madagascar.
This world contains blue Wonder Flowers and Wonder Seeds, and there is a total of 35 Wonder Seeds and one Royal Seed to collect.
Levels
Pipe-Rock Plateau contains twenty levels, as well as a Badge House and a Poplin Shop.
