The Hoppycat Trial: Hop, Hop, and Awaaay is a level in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is found in the third world of the game, Shining Falls. As its name suggests, this level prominently features Hoppycats. It is available after clearing Master Poplin's House, and completion of this level unlocks Break Time! Unreachable Treasure? This course contains two Wonder Seeds, and the difficulty of this level is three stars.

Layout[edit]

Throughout the level, Hoppycats appear by jumping from the bottom and top of the screen when the players jump near them. Jumping again will make the Hoppycats jump again and possibly land on a higher platform. A beanstalk contained in a hidden block leads to a bonus area. After the checkpoint, there are three sets of lifts with Hoppycats on them. There is then a long ? Block above a single lift holds the Wonder Flower. It can be released by making a Hoppycat jump on the lift then jump again to hit the block. Touching the Wonder Flower will make Kyodai na Hoppin appear. Each time they jump, they will destroy any terrain above them. The players must climb upwards with the Kyodai na Hoppin. At the top of this section is the Wonder Seed. After obtaining it, the Wonder Effect ends, and a nearby pipes transports the players to the Goal Pole. The players can bounce off of Hoppycats that jump from the ceiling to reach the top of it.
