Rawks[1] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch ports. Rawks can be found in the Jungle world, the Ruins, and the Golden Temple, as well as the Cloud world in the port only. Their name comes from the bird, hawk. Rawks are the larger, red-feathered variant of Awks, also sporting purple talons and yellow feathers on their back. When a Rawk notices Donkey Kong, it charges at him and attempts to injure him.
