The Eekhammer is a type of Hammer attack that can be used in Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Paper Mario: Color Splash. It resembles a squeaky hammer toy, and, as the appearance implies, it squeaks when Mario hits an enemy with it. In both of its appearances, it can be used to hit a single enemy up to five times.

History

Paper Mario: Sticker Star

“If you're good, strikes a single foe many times.”
In-game description

The Eekhammer first appears in Paper Mario: Sticker Star as a common type of sticker. It is found commonly in the overworld, and can be bought in Decalburg for 5 coins. The action command is similar to that of the standard Jump sticker, hitting a singular enemy up to five times in a row. Several stronger variations exist, such as the Shiny Eekhammer.

They can be placed into the Sticker Museum in the No. 39 spot alongside its stronger variants. It has an attack rating of only one star.

Paper Mario: Color Splash

The Eekhammer reappears in Paper Mario: Color Splash, functioning the same way as it did in the previous game, now as a Battle Card. There are several variants, such as the Eekhammer x2 and the Big Eekhammer. It is available for sale in two forms — unpainted and painted. It costs 5 coins unpainted, while it costs 20 coins pre-painted.

Paper Mario: The Origami King

The Eekhammer makes a minor cameo in Paper Mario: The Origami King. It appears as part of the background in a photo of Princess Peach based on her appearance in Paper Mario: Sticker Star in the control room of The Princess Peach.
