The Soda (known as the Fizzy Drink in the British English version) is a Thing in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It is found in Drybake Desert. As Mario is strolling down the sand flow between the Big 1UP niche and the pyramid, he should be on the lookout for it buried in one of the nearby platforms. He may then approach it and simply pull it out to collect it. Once collected, it remains in Mario's Album until it is turned into a Sticker at a Sling-a-Thing station. Once it has been used as a sticker, it returns to its original position. It can also be purchased from the Shady Toad for 80 Coins.
The soda is a small sticker, taking up only one square in Mario's album. If and when it is used in battle, tropical music starts to play as the soda can drops onscreen, shaking frantically before tilting toward the enemies and popping the tab open. This unleashes a stream of water as well as a rainbow. In addition to taking minor damage, the enemies may suffer from the Soggy status effect for a few turns. The player is able to mash as the can is shaking to boost the effects.
The soda can also be placed into the Sticker Museum as #44 as a "shot"-related Thing. Its basic description merely notes its refreshing property, while its museum description sarcastically praises the idea of shaking it before use.
Like the Squirt Gun, the soda is fairly effective during the battle with Petey Piranha.
