A Beebee,[1] also known as a Bee,[2] is an enemy in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Beebees are encountered in the Tree Zone level Honeybees only. They are located near walls with eight holes in them. Each hole houses a different Beebee, which exits its hole after the previous is defeated. Beebees try to attack by exiting their holes and slowly homing in on Mario. Beebees can be defeated from being jumped on. After all eight Beebees are defeated or one is defeated with a spin jump or while Mario is invincible, no more appear from that wall. Beebees also have an undead variant called Skeleton Bees and a fat variant called Bigbee.

Watching with squinty eyes

When they find Mario, they will slowly approach him and try to sting him with their poisonous stinger. When you see the eyes of a bee coming out of its hive, it is a sign that it is coming out. To avoid being stung by the stingers, climb up to a high place and step on them.
