Cutting It Close is one of WarioWatch's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted!, returning in WarioWare Gold as one of Penny's microgames. The name is a play on the idiom "cutting it close", meaning to do something before time is up.

Gameplay

The game's purpose is to shave the face of a man called Shades by moving the razor. If successful, the game is won.

The player starts off the game with five seconds.

  • 1st level difficulty: Shades' face has a small amount of hair. He smiles when the game is won.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Shades' face has more hair. He smiles with a gap in his teeth when the game is won.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Shades' face has a bigger amount of hair. His nose drips with nasal mucus and he smiles when the game is won.
