The greaser Goombas[1] are a gang of Goombas that helped Kool Koopa invade Sock Hop Land in the episode of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, "Elvin Lives." They are ordinary Goombas, but wear "James Dean" jackets and ride motorcycles. The gang escorts Kool Koopa into town when he first takes over, and then hangout at the malt shop where they easily get induced into a food fight. Later on they chase the heroes' hot rod after Luigi grabs Princess Toadstool from Kool Koopa's convertible. One kicks a Bob-Omb at the heroes' car and makes it spin out, but Mario and Luigi grab Fire Flowers from a nearby field and chase them away.
