Honeybees[1] is a level in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, and can either be the third or fourth level of the Tree Zone, depending on the order of levels played. Most of this level takes place in a giant beehive.

Layout

The level starts out with one Unera and a ? Block containing a Fire Flower, with a pipe which takes Mario higher into the beehive. Here, there are some ? Blocks, coins, and dark hexagons in the background Beebees might spawn from. There is then another pipe Mario must enter. In this area, there are more Unera and ? Blocks, as well as Bigbees, which quickly drop to the floor and back up when Mario gets near them. After the next pipe is a section with two Grubbies and more Beebees spawning in the background. In the middle, there are three pipes. If Mario goes down one of them, he enters an area with several rows of ? Blocks. A Fire Flower can be found in a ? Block on the left side, at the left end of the middle row. A Star can be found in the ? Block in the top-right corner. There are also Grubbies on the left side and Unera on the right side.

When Mario enters the next pipe, he reaches a row of bricks with a ? Block containing another Fire Flower at the right end. There are two Grubbies on top, as well as the Mid-Point Bell. There are Tamara, egg-like enemies which rise from pods, underneath. After this is one last pipe which takes Mario lower into the beehive. Here, there are some ? Blocks, a few more Beebees, and the Goal. There are two blocks, one of them a Hidden Block, which allow Mario to reach the bell.
