Jeannie Elias (also known as Jeanie Elias) is a Canadian voice and film actress, born on August 23, 1954 in Montreal, Quebec. She has led a career of minor acting and voicing roles in television shows, movies, and video games beginning in 1977 and continuing to the present day.[citation needed]
In 1989, Elias portrayed Princess Toadstool, Birdo, and Shy Guy in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! She was subsequently replaced by Tracey Moore in The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World.
