Yellow turnstiles[1] are solid objects that appear in the Spinning Maze and Rotating Maze bonus areas in the Metro Kingdom and Seaside Kingdom, respectively, in Super Mario Odyssey. They are three or four yellow walls placed perpendicular to each other on top of a platform. When Mario throws Cappy at a wall, the turnstile rotates 90 degrees in the direction Cappy was launched. Some turnstiles contain Moon Shards or Fire Piranha Plants. When a turnstile moves, Moon Shards, Hearts, and Fire Piranha Plants associated with it also move.
