Bee Eaters[1] are enemies in Super Mario Galaxy 2 in the Honeybloom Galaxy, and specifically get in the way of Bee Mario in Bumble Beginnings. They have red, retractable spikes. Unlike rubbery bulbs, they are able to physically move themselves and will therefore try to hurt Mario or Luigi by extending their spiky ends at them. However, they cannot reach very far.
