Doug Bowser is an American businessman and currently the president and Chief Operating Officer of Nintendo's North America branch. He joined Nintendo in May 2015 as vice president of sales and marketing, and became senior vice president in August 2016.[1] On April 15, 2019, Bowser succeeded Reggie Fils-Aimé as the fourth president of Nintendo of America following the latter's retirement. Coincidentally, he shares the same name as the Mario series antagonist Bowser.
