This article is about the Paper Bob-ombs and shiny variants of the Paper Bob-ombs in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. For Bob-ombs in the Paper Mario series, see Bob-omb § Paper Mario series. For the Shiny Bob-ombs that appear in Paper Mario: Sticker Star, see Shiny Bob-omb.

Paper Bob-ombs are paper forms of Bob-ombs that appear as enemies in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. Paper Bob-ombs attack by ramming into the heroes. After attacking a Paper Bob-omb, its fuse will light, and its next attack will result in an explosion which will defeat the Paper Bob-omb and may leave its target Dizzy. Paper Bob-ombs are commonly found at Doop Doop Dunes, with higher level Paper Bob-ombs found at Sunbeam Plains and Neo Bowser Castle.

Rare, shiny variants can also appear in place of the regular Paper Bob-ombs in the same areas with greater stats and the same methods of attack. The Paper Bob-ombs at Doop Doop Dunes will always drop a Mushroom and a Double 1-Up Mushroom with the ones at Sunbeam Plains and Neo Bowser Castle always dropping a Super Mushroom and a Shiny Battle Card when defeated.
