The Wooded Kingdom is a location featured in the upcoming Super Mario game Super Mario Odyssey. It is a large forest surrounded by mountains and a glass dome, and is the greater location of Steam Gardens. Its Regional Coins take the form of bolt nuts.
Areas
- Iron Road: a set of red iron buildings.
- Deep Woods: a spooky-looking dark forest where a T-Rex resides.
- Sky Garden
- Observation Deck[1]: a top area with a red iron floor where Glydon can be found.
Power Moon locations

The Wooded Kingdom has blue Power Moons.
There are a total of 54 Power Moons in this kingdom.[2] Mario will need to collect 16 Power Moons to power up the Odyssey.[3]
- 01: Road to Sky Garden: Obtained after defeating a Big Piranha Plant at the end of the Red Maze.[4]

- Caught Hopping in the Forest: Obtained by catching the rabbit in the forest.
- Beneath the Roots of the Moving Tree: Obtained by moving a tree (in the Deep Woods) and then ground pounding the glowing spot beneath it.
- Atop the Tall Tree: Obtained after using an Uproot to climb the tall tree and crack the nut at the top.
- Flooding Pipeway: Obtained after completing a hidden area in Iron Road, which can be entered with an underwater Warp Pipe.[4]
- The Nut in the Red Maze: Obtained after using an Uproot to get in a side path of the red maze and crack the nut at the end of the path.
- Climb the Rock to Get the Nut: Obtained after using an Uproot to climb over some rock to reach a nut.[5]
- Exploring for Treasure: Found in a secret area in the Deep Woods accessible by entering a door behind a waterfall, unlocked by wearing the explorer outfit, since the guard was told to 'only permit explorers inside'. [6]
- The Hard Rock in the Deep Woods: Obtained by ground-pounding three times a certain area marked by a faint beam of light in the Deep Woods. [7]
- Invisible Road: Danger!: Obtained by overcoming a challenging level full of Poison Piranha Plants and defeating the three big ones in a secret area. [8]
- Back Way Up the Mountain: Found in a simple and short 2D section. [9]
- Peach in the Wooded Kingdom: Obtained by talking with Princess Peach, who can be found in the Observation Deck area. [10]
- Hey Out There, Captain Toad: Obtained by talking with Captain Toad in an area which can only be reached by capturing Glydon. [11]
- Above the Iron Mountain Path: Found in the sky above the level which can only be reached by capturing Glydon. [12]
- The Nut that Grew on the Tall Fence: Obtained by breaking a nut (which grew on some iron path) by hitting it three times. [13]

- Can be purchased from the Crazy Cap store for 100 yellow Coins.

Trivia
- During the reveal trailer, the electronic billboard for Steam Gardens found in New Donk City showed that the location was originally named "Kogwald". The name is a portmanteau of cog and -wald, the German word for forest.
