This article is about a subject in an upcoming or recently released game. When the game is released, or more information about this subject is found, this article may need major rewriting.
This notice should be removed after a month has passed since the game was first released.
Multi Moons[1] (originally called Grand Moons during the E3 playthrough.[2]) are collectable items in Super Mario Odyssey. Equivalent to the Grand Stars in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, they grant three Power Moons when collected, and are usually collected after completing a level with a boss or another story-related mission.[3] Like the Power Moons, the Multi Moons are given specific colors depending on the kingdom in which they are found.
Missions
- Showdown on the Inverted Pyramid (Sand Kingdom)
- Broodals Over the Lake (Lake Kingdom)
- Flower Thieves of Sky Garden (Wooded Kingdom)
- Defend the Secret Flower Field! (Wooded Kingdom)
- The Scourge on the Skyscraper (Metro Kingdom)
- The Glass Is Half Full! (Seaside Kingdom)
- Big Pot on the Volcano: Dive In! (Luncheon Kingdom)
Colors
Multi Moons feature a different color depending on the kingdom in which they are found. Their color also matches the color of the kingdom's Power Moons and the pole of the Kingdom's Checkpoint Flag.
