Vine Chomps are always located in the ceiling, and they hide in their leaves waiting for a Kong to approach its vine-shaped tongue. When the Kongs grab onto the vine-shaped tongue, the Vine Chomp then starts to slowly pull the tongue back to its mouth, trying to eat the Kongs.
