Template:Newsubject Template:Item-infobox Wonder Wools are collectible items that appear in Yoshi's Woolly World. There are five Wonder Wools in each level, all in a variety of different colours. Wonder Wools are Yoshis that have been transformed by Kamek. There are 275 Wonder Wools in the game. If the player collects every Wonder Wool in a level, a Yoshi pattern is unlocked. In the final stage (6-8) Kamek converts wonder wool into giant purple wonder wool which is used to empower Baby Bowser for the final battle.

Trivia

  • Unlike Smiley Flowers or Beads, Wonder Wools cannot be collected by throwing a Yarn Ball at them. This can make it the hardest collectable item to get in each level.
  • Each Yoshi is made up of 5 Wonder Wools each. The color of the Yoshi determines the color of the wonder wool it is made up of.
  • During the game's development and pre-release, Wonder Wools were known as Yarn Balls, however this name was used for the balls of wool Yoshi creates and throws during the game.
