The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.
Climbing Koopas[1] are Koopa Troopas that climb fences. They are found in Super Mario World, New Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
In Super Mario World, Climbing Koopas are found in castles and come in two colors: red and green. The red moves faster than the green. They move in one direction, either horizontal or vertical. When they reach the edge of the fence, they will flip to the opposite side of the fence. They can be easily killed by fireballs, punches from the opposite side of the fence, or simply having the player be on top of the koopa as it passes by.
They do not turn into Mask Koopas after the completion of the Special World (or finding all 96 goals in Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2).
