Template:GBoss-infobox Sorbetti is a boss who appears in the game Super Mario Galaxy 2 in the Freezy Flake Galaxy. It appears in the mission, "Sorbetti's Chilly Reception".
Appearance
Sorbetti is a snow-covered boulder-like spiked creature with two crystals for eyes and an evil grin. It also has a bulbous red nose that serves as its weak point. Its appearance overall makes it to resemble a snow-covered Super Big Tap-Tap.
Combat
Once Mario encounters Sorbetti, the monster will start rolling around the planetoid, which is Sorbetti's only attack. Mario must use a Star Spin on Sorbetti's nose to damage it, the same way he would for a boulder. However, icicles in the stage serve as obstacles and hinder Mario's movement. If Sorbetti hits an icicle, it will bounce off it and move in a different direction, which may be better or worse, depending on Mario's location. But an icicle can be destroyed with a spin and can sometimes reveal a coin when destroyed. If Sorbetti hits Mario, it will laugh and move in a different direction. When Mario hits the boss, it will fly back and continue to roll. After Sorbetti is hit twice, it will become infuriated and move around the arena faster and more erratically. When Mario finally hits Sorbetti a third time, the boss will be defeated and grant Mario the level's Power Star.
