'''Jolene''' was [[Grubba|Mr. Grubba's]] assistant in ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]''. She worked for Mr. Grubba to find out his evil plots and cover-ups and help [[Mario]] and his friends beat Grubba by going under the name of a mysterious person named '''X'''. After Mario and co. beat Grubba, she is reunited with her brother, [[Prince Mush]], and takes Grubba's place as the manager of the Glitz Pit.
'''Jolene''' is a [[Toad]] who lives in the [[Glitzville]], and is the assistant of [[Grubba]] in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. She appears at the very beggining of Chapter 3, in Grubba's office. She leads [[Mario]] and his partners to there locker room, and then leaves. By talking to [[Bandy Andy]], Mario can discover that occasionly, Jolene had been seen going into places, bathrooms and such, and not coming back out.
 
Mario enters the tournament of Glitzville, and as he advances in the people start to go missing.He also starts getting E-mails from a strange person called X. One such E-mail tells him to look in the attic of the building, where he finds the crumpled body of fellow fighters [[King K]] and [[Bandy Andy]]. While exiting the attic, he spies Jolene about to enter, then quickly running out again when she see's him.
 
This leads many people to believe that Jolene is the one who is capturing fighters. However at the end of the game, it is revealed that Grubba is actually behind this. After Mario defeats Grubba, Jolene walks in and tells him that she is actually the sister of the old champion of the [[Glitz Pit]], [[Prince Mush]]. Prince Mush dissapeared, and Jolene suspected Grubba of kidnapping him. So she got a job as his secretary, so that she could learn his secrets. She also revesled that '''She''' was actually X, and had sent Mario the E-mails so that he would unknowingly help her uncover the mystery.  
 
She goes on to question the defeated Grubba about her brother, but Grubba says simply that Prince Mush "A'int around no more". Grief stricken, Jolene is surprised when Prince Mush hops out of the [[Crystal Star]] Grubba was using to power his machine. Grubba had been using Prince Mush to give the Crystal Star more power. Happily reunited with her brother, Jolene goes on to become the president of the Glitz Pit.
 
When not at work, Jolene can be found at Glitzville's Juice bar. The character is never actually confirmed to be Jolene, but it is implied throughout the game. This would also explain her going into bthrooms and not coming out.... she actually just changes her clothes, and no one recognizes her!


When Jolene isn't working she can be seen in the juice bar on the east side of [[Glitzville]], but without her glasses and suit. She doesn't actually say who she is but she'll give you hints that she's Jolene throughout the chapter. Not many people have still guessed that she's Jolene.
