Stilts are enemies in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its Nintendo 3DS port, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. They are turkey-like enemies that usually appear walking on a pair of bamboo stems that they use as stilts. They have white and yellow plumage and an orange tail and wings, though their body is pink. Stilts are mostly featured in the Ruins world.
Stilts are vulnerable to barrel rolls and can be jumped on. Alternatively, they can be instantly defeated if a barrel is thrown at them. When the Kongs perform either move on Stilts, it loses its stilts and feathers, and it runs about in a frantic pace. The Kongs can then easily defeat the Stilts by hitting into it. Stilts are rarely encountered without their stilts or feathers.
