Some shooting Chomps

Shooting Chomps[1] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country Returns. They are yellow carnivorous plants and a variant of Chomps with holes on their bodies. Shooting Chomps are first encountered in Clingy Swingy. They attack by shooting damaging spores out of their various holes. Shooting Chomps are the weakest of the Chomp varieties, and they can be defeated with basic attacks such as jumping or throwing a barrel at them. If a shooting Chomp is on the ceiling, it can be defeated from a barrel only.
