Hatch Me if You Can
Hatch Me if You Can in Mario & Luigi: Brothership
BP/SP/CP needed 7
Location Shipshape Island
First appearance Mario & Luigi: Brothership
Brothership description Make Mario A Button, or Luigi B Button, dive for the egg. Finally, use Left Stick to aim and smash with X Button.

Hatch Me If You Can is Mario's second Bros. Attack in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Its name is a pun on the phrase "catch me if you can". It is given to Mario by Technikki after either Princess Peach or Luigi is sent to investigate Lottacoins Island, and costs 7 BP to use.

Procedure

When the attack starts, Mario pulls a Yoshi's Egg from his pocket and tosses it into the air, after which he and Luigi back up away from their adversary. The player must press the correct button to have the respective Bro. catch the egg, depending on which side the egg falls on, resulting in the egg getting sent back up after which the opposite Bro. hits the egg back into the air. Afterward, both Bros. must smash the egg into their target. If the Bros. hit the target dead-on, a Yoshi will pop out of the egg and attack the targeted foe with a Ground Pound.
