Yoshi's Island is one of 5-Volt's microgames in the Nintendo Classics level of the Mash League in WarioWare Gold. It is based on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System game of roughly the same name.
Gameplay[edit]
Yoshi must jump at the right moment to free Baby Mario before Kamek's Toadies take him. Yoshi can also Flutter Jump if necessary.
- 1st level difficulty: Baby Mario's bubble stays in place, and Yoshi can reach it from the ground.
- 2nd level difficulty: Same as Level 1, but Yoshi must jump on two platforms to reach it.
- 3rd level difficulty: Baby Mario's bubble slowly moves horizontally, and Yoshi must jump from two posts to reach it.
Unique to the WarioWatch challenge, where the microgame instead has a maximum of a 28-beat time limit, it is shown that Kamek's Toadies fly through Baby Mario and never actually pick him up with them.
