Movable covers[1] are solid objects that appear in the Wooded Kingdom and the Darker Side in Super Mario Odyssey. They can be interacted with while the player captures an Uproot by extending its legs below these platforms. Movable covers usually move only upwards. Exactly one case in the Darker Side has a cover that moves downward, which is pushed by extending the Uproot's legs into the cover.
In the Wooded Kingdom, movable covers can be found inside the maze in the Iron Road area. These platforms are orange in this kingdom.
