Wiggles,[1] originally known as Cling Cobras,[2] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its port. They are encountered in Clingy Swingy only. Wiggles have a yellow body and an orange stripe spanning across their back. They have red eyes and a set of sharp teeth that match the yellow color of their body. Cling Cobra's name is derived from king cobra, a type of venomous snake in real life. A Wiggle's main characteristic is to cling on to a grass patch, which they repeatedly move across. A Wiggle can make Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong lose a heart point on contact, sometimes also causing the Kongs to lose their balance and fall off the patch of grass. A Wiggle can be defeated from being stomped.

Cling Cobra's name is derived from king cobra, a type of real-world venomous snake.
