Snoodles[1] are tube worm-based enemies in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Their name may be a combination of "snake" and "noodle," referring to their long bodies. They look like plants with thick green stems and blue bubble-like heads at first sight. However, when Mario or Luigi approaches one of them, it opens its eyes. Snoodles' only method of attack includes trying to block the brothers from advancing by leaning towards a set location. These enemies can easily be defeated with a Green Shell or even by the light shone by the shell itself. Also, the player can shoot two Star Bits at them or even just spin into them to defeat them. They first appear in the Cosmic Cove Galaxy, and they later reappear in the Slimy Spring Galaxy.
