Mame-san are green, bean-like enemies that appear in Yoshi's New Island. They are only found in World 1-8: Big Beanie's Castle. They approach Yoshi and Baby Mario by hopping towards him in a similar manner to Burts from the previous Yoshi's Island games. They are the only new enemies in the game that are not a variant of an existing enemy.
