Holes, also referred to as archer ports[1] and archer's ports,[2] are objects that appear in Bowser's Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. They are small openings in the walls, some of which are open. When Mario captures a Pokio, he can use its beak to poke inside the open hole, and doing so rewards him with a Power Moon.
According to the brochure, these holes were previously used by defenders to shoot at invaders.
