Vanishing platforms[1] are solid objects that appear only in the Luncheon Kingdom Timer Challenge 2 in Super Mario Odyssey. When Mario steps on this block, it starts to move downwards and disappears after a short period of time. These blocks only appear after throwing Cappy at a scarecrow. In order to obtain a Power Moon, Mario requires to cross a bridge made out of these blocks twice. In total, there are 42 vanishing platforms.
