Peddler Toad is a character in Paper Mario: Color Splash. He initially runs the Prisma Café in Ruddy Road, located in the middle of the long stretch of road between the red Mini Paint Star and the dead-end. The first time Mario passes by this stand, it is open and busting, with a line of Shy Guys ordering from the barista. It is held up due to the Shy Guy in front being unable to order. Once Mario has cornered the runaway Paint Guy, the line is gone and the Shy Guys are sitting at the tables with their coffee. However, the barista tells Mario he is fresh out of everything and unable to sell him anything.

The Attack Piece Toad is a character in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. He is a red Toad with an interest in Attack Pieces. He is found in Mushrise Park, where he provides two Attack Pieces along with an explanation on how they are used. Later on, he is found in a hotel in Wakeport, although he is not immediately recognized.

Before Mario has a chance to clear the level, four of the Shy Guys who ordered at this café pull up the road, rolling it out. The barista, still in his stand, can be seen panicking as it moves around. The umbrellas as well as the large fork on display fall off, nearly striking Mario. Once the road has been completely folded up, the barista floats down, hanging onto an umbrella. He finds his café is now directly above him, and starts worrying about a gimmick and title for his stand.
History
This Toad is met in the foyer of Peach's Castle, appearing after Mario, Luigi, and Paper Mario have departed from Twinsy Tropics following their first visit to the area. Once they have entered, a red Toad panics over what is to be done, asking them for suggestions. Monologue Toad, standing next to him, snaps him out of it. He tells the trio his friend is too distraught to speak for himself and proceeds to explain for him. Notably, he tells them to listen carefully to his following text and not to skim through it, alluding to the fast-forward button.

After Mario has smoothed out the path, the barista becomes angry and runs toward the Shy Guys responsible for messing up his stand. He begins jumping on the piece of road they are holding up, trying to teach them a lesson. He asks Mario to help him out. Once Mario jumps in synchronization with the barista, the Shy Guys are squished into paint, satisfying the barista, who then returns to his stand. However, he regrets doing this due to no longer having any customers.
With this matter clarified, the Toad proceeds to give his story. According to him, he was on Mount Brrr and noticed Bowser Jr. and Paper Bowser Jr. taking both Princess Peach and Paper Peach with them. To summarize, he tells the trio Mount Brrr would be their next destination. Right after this, a cutscene plays to determine this. Once the cutscene has played, the Toad reiterates the move and his disbelief to Bowser having a villa.

Once he has talked to the Port Prisma barista, Mario receives a letter in the post office from the Ruddy Road barista, informing him he still has no customers and is looking toward hanging out together. If Mario returns to his stand and speaks with Barista Toad, he becomes excited at the idea of a customer before realizing it is Mario. Just then, the depressed Port Prisma barista passes by, attracted by the decor of Barista Toad's shop. When asked to switch places, he becomes shocked and thrilled at the idea of becoming the barista of a highly successful café, and happily accepts. Following this, Barista Toad runs the Prisma Café in Port Prisma, much to his content.
Suddenly, he collapses on the nearby floor, envisioning the princesses in great distraught and disbelief, with both Bowser Jrs. acting ungrateful. He claims this to be a fate worse than death and vows that Bowser will be stopped. Only after he states this does he realize he slowly strayed from the others during his extensive monologue, all of whom have left. With Toadette and the gang now in front of the castle, the Monologue Toad can be heard moaning at a nearby window. As they are discussing their plans to get to Mount Brrr, the Toad suddenly dashes out of the castle, vowing to find the princesses, or at least his princess, himself.

Unexpectedly, this Toad is encountered again shortly on. He is seen narrowly running from Paper Petey Piranha in front of the path leading to the mountain. After he ends up in his grip, the Toad decides to explain the predicament once more. This time, he directly tells them not to fast forward through his text, with a message on the screen serving as a reminder. He then proceeds to go on a soap box rant. He begins by telling them they had battled a different Petey Piranha. He seems to stray from this topic, citing the arrival of the paper characters and eventually listing some of the trio's best features. He ponders whether they will be able to save the Mushroom Kingdom. As he is wondering his own fate, Paper Petey Piranha tosses him out of sight. He is never seen or mentioned again after this.

“And what of me? What will be the fate of this humble Toad?”
Attack Piece Toad, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam

The Attack Piece Toad is a character in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. He is a red Toad with an interest in Attack Pieces. He is found in Mushrise Park, where he provides two Attack Pieces along with an explanation on how they are used. Later on, he is found in a hotel in Wakeport, although he is not immediately recognized.
