Kabooms (also known as TNT Barrels[1]) are red Kremlings and the TNT Barrel-wearing variant of Klobbers. They first appeared in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. Kabooms disguise themselves as ordinary TNT Barrels and pop out when a character gets close. They do not appear in Donkey Kong Land 2.
Krackas were originally planned to be the successors to Kabooms in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! but were later removed, making the rope-climbing Klasps their only successor. However, in the Game Boy Advance port, they appeared in a Pacifica level, Stormy Seas.
