The Grape Shooter, also known as the Grape Pipe,[1] is the name of Lanky Kong's personal weapon in Donkey Kong 64. It is a long narrow blowgun that appears to be made up of bamboo, and it fires grapes at enemies. Lanky fires from his Grape Shooter by blowing out of it. Lanky can purchase the Grape Shooter at Funky's Store for three coins, starting at Angry Aztec. Like the other Kongs' personal weapon, the Grape Shooter allows Lanky to shoot at Banana Balloons, hit Grape Switches and snipe enemies from afar. The Grape Shooter always uses the same sound, regardless whether it has ammo or not. Some later upgrades from Funky's Store that apply to the Grape Shooter and the other Kongs' weapon include a larger ammo capacity, a sniper scope, and enemy-seeking ammo.
