Template:Item-infobox Puzzle Pieces are items appearing in the games Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. As their name implies, these objects are shiny, orange, curved puzzle pieces. There are various numbers of them hidden throughout every single level, except for boss levels. There are either five, seven, or nine Puzzle Pieces in each level. Puzzle Pieces are often hidden in levels, but they are also obtained after the player collects every single Banana, Banana Coin, and/or Extra Life Balloon in a Bonus Level within thirty seconds. Every time all Puzzle Pieces are collected in a level, the Image Gallery is updated with one photo.

If the player collects all the Puzzle Pieces, it shows up as a certain fruit and then turns into a silver Puzzle Piece. Also, on the level menu, one of the 3 circles (depending on the level) is filled.
