An Electric Shooter is a device that appears in the Space Storm Galaxy of Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are the yellow versions of the group of Shooters, more resembling the nozzle of F.L.U.D.D. They appear in the mission "Follow Me, Bob-omb", in the Electric Field where the player is using Pull Stars. They shoot pieces of electricity at Mario/Luigi. This causes them to fall and lose a life. However, there is a way to tell when they are about to shoot. Mario/Luigi will see the electricity on them. Then, they will fire. To avoid them, Mario/Luigi must quickly move himself to another Pull Star before he dies.

Zap Nozzles[1] are devices in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are the yellow versions of the Water Shooter and Fire Shooter, with, like the others, nozzles similar to F.L.U.D.D.'s nozzle. They appear in the Space Storm Galaxy in the mission Follow Me, Bob-omb in the Electric Field Area where the player uses the Pull Stars. They shoot homing orbs of electricity at Mario or Luigi. If one hits him, it causes him to fall and lose a wedge of health, and possibly fall into the black hole (the player can still quickly grab a Pull Star to stop Mario or Luigi from falling). The electric orbs are the same ones that the Undergrunt Gunner in the Toy Time Galaxy and the Boomsday Machine in Bowser Jr.'s Boom Bunker shoot out. Prior to shooting, Zap Nozzles tend to charge up and glow, thus making it easy to predict their firing pattern.
