Its growth can vary from two times bigger to three times bigger. It attacks by spitting a piece of batter and slamming it with its club at the bros. Protobatters are enemies found inside the Pump Works of Bowser's body in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. A more powerful variation called Pwallops appear in the Energy Hold.

Design[edit]

Protobatters have spherical, cream-colored bodies with a black "o"-shaped mouth, a pair of simplistic arms, brown, shoe-like feet, and raised, black eyes. They wield black clubs with white spikes.

Battle[edit]

Protobatters attack by spitting out a piece of batter and slamming it with its club at the Mario Bros. The direction it holds its club indicates which one of the Bros. will be attacked, and it may miss the swing up to two times in an attempt to lower the player's guard.
